Following yet another collision resulting in a dropped catch but thankfully no injuries this time , i would like to take this opportunity to remind all Greysman of club policy on the issue of skyers.

As this is a Health and Safety issue and due to our inability to make a decision otherwise , i have overridden the democratic process and declared a policy of skippers call . When the ball is skyed nobody calls except the Captain . If you fancy the catch go for it as normal , you will hear a call from the skipper , if its your name go for it , if not stop. This may well result in the skip calling it wrong on occasion but NOBODY WILL GET HURT !

We can discuss it again at AGM or if people feel that strongly and they have a better idea call an EGM.
